Cashmere Yarn

So I got it into my head that I wanted to make this scarf for my husband for Christmas:

Hello Yarn.... Besotted Scarf Pattern

I also got it into my head that I wanted to use this yarn:

Cashmere Yarn

Upon doing the math it would cost $300.00 to make the scarf with this yarn.

Um, yeah, that might happen.

I'm buying Powerball tickets. $290 million. Sweet!

And when I win, we're having one big Pittsburgh knitting party. Cashmere for everyone!!!! There won't be enough goats to keep us in Cashmere! Bartender, give my friends another skein of cashmere! :-)

Holly, I'm on the same page as you regarding the cost of yarn for projects. What do these designers think we are, millionnaires?

I'm buying mine tomorrow.

Cashmere would be nice, I'll take alpaca, too!!

i am going to look around and see what i can find...also, what about baby alpaca, or a cashmere blend? i have gotten a few different baby alpaca yarns that are soooooo soft. but there is cashmerino that isn't quite so pricey. the other option could be having someone spin cashmere for you...i can look up what the fiber costs if you would like...
a really good place if you need multiple balls is discountyarns.com. i have gotten yarn for projects for 6.50 a ball rather than 9 bucks, although you have to buy a whole bag...

hope you are well...i dyed you a few skeins of merino and my cats got into while it was drying and it got super tangled all but one ball. sigh.

your secret pally. do you know who i am btw? if you do, just spill, so i can just drop the act. i hate secrets.
