Monday Night Knitting

I finished the first Opal sock. I think Charlotte will really like these. They are so pretty. Sort of reminds me of Easter and hopefully I can have them finished by Easter to give to her.

Here is the start of Michaela. I love the pattern. Thanks a TON to Yvonne (i'd hightlight this so you could click on it and go to her blog if i knew how....but.. alas... I do not.) for clueing me in on the "lifeline" tip for lace knitting. So simple and logical and yet I would have never thought to do it. When I reach row 1 of the pattern repeat again, the lifeline is going in.

Tonight is knitting night. I started a blue baby cap for my charity knitting. It's going to be tough not to keep it for Colin! I'll have to make him one too. Poor neglected grandchild ... I haven't knit anything for him yet! He'll be here in about 6 weeks. This grandma is getting pretty excited!

Shawl looks great! Keep up with that lace knitting!

To put in a hyperlink (where if you click on it it'll take you to another site), you need to highlight the word or words that you want to be the link, then hit the hyperlink button on the Blogger toolbar over your compose area. (It has a little picture that's something like this: <-->) A window will then pop up where you type in the Web address you would like your link to go to, and hit OK. Voila, you have a hyperlink!
